Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was furious with his players after defeat at Crystal Palace.

He launched a furious attack on his Chelsea flops after their shock defeat at rock-bottom Crystal Palace.

Conte said: “The performance of the whole team was bad, not one or two players — all the players.

“Our performance was bad.

"This season will be difficult but we must also understand we have to try to build something important for the future.

“Everyone can see our situation. If we compare last season, we didn't play in the Europa League or Champions League."

Conte implied his squad was simply not strong enough adding: “This season we're facing four competitions and we are having a few problems doing this.

“When you have a few injuries, you're in trouble.

“We must have patience and to understand it won't be easy."
