Chelsea boss Ancelotti explains his feelings towards Inter and AC Milan

Carlo Ancelotti is cool on speculation over a return to AC Milan, but is adamant a move to Inter Milan will not happen. Ancelotti spent 13 years with the red and black half of the Italian city as a player and then manager, memorably steering the club to Champions League success on two occasions, in 2003 and 2007.

Inter president Massimo Moratti is believed to be a huge fan of Ancelotti, who responded: "If I would go to Inter in place of Leonardo? No, although I respect certain personal choices," Ancelotti told Il Giorno.

"I've spent 13 years at Milan, for me it is impossible to deny the past.

"Moratti said he thought also of me? I thank him for the kind words but I don't change my mind, I'm an AC Milan man.

"And in the event that Moratti had to call me in the future, I'll politely decline the invitation."

As to an AC Milan return, Ancelotti stressed that he was concentrating solely on his work with Chelsea.

However, he did admit that the Rossoneri would always hold a special place in his heart.

"Returning to AC Milan? Now I'm at Chelsea, I don't think," he said.

"But if one day (club supremo Silvio) Berlusconi or someone from AC Milan would call, I would not think for a moment to say yes, because certain relationships and certain victories will never be forgotten."
