Chelsea block Scolari from accepting Premiership offers

Luiz Felipe Scolari cannot work in the Premiership for the first-half of next season, it has been revealed.

The People says Chelsea have banned Scolari from working in the Premier League for the next YEAR - as part of his £7.5million pay-off.

Brazilian coach Scolari had to agree to the amazing settlement when he was handed his golden handshake by Roman Abramovich ... and the news will disappoint a handful of rival clubs.

Chelsea demanded the clause was put in his severance package to make sure that he did not come back to haunt them after his short but not-so-sweet stay at Stamford Bridge.

It is a similar deal to the 'golden handcuffs' agreement Chelsea had with Jose Mourinho when he left and had to go to work in Italy with Inter Milan.

And even highly-rated Dutchman Henk Ten Cate was unable to pursue Blackburn's interest in him because Chelsea were haggling over his settlement at the time.
