Chelsea are blanking Tottenham over their pursuit of winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.
The Sun says Spurs have tabled an £11million bid and the winger is keen to link up with boss Martin Jol.
But Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon hopes to avoid selling as he believes Spurs will become title rivals in future seasons.
And, over the last week, Kenyon has refused to take calls from White Hart Lane officials hoping to complete a deal.
Aston Villa have tried to sign Wright-Phillips, 25, with Manchester City and West Ham also interested.
