Chelsea have slapped an £8 million price-tag on fullback Ryan Bertrand.
The Daily Express says Jose Mourinho's side have already rejected Liverpool's £6m bid for the twice capped England international, but a revised bid is expected.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a host of defenders including Bertrand, and is a clear sign that bolstering his back-four is a priority for the Argentine.
However, the £8m price-tag being demanded by the West London side is just £2m short of Swansea's Ben Davies valuation.
And a move for a younger star with greater potential may be a more tempting offer.
