Chelsea and Brighton strike Sanchez terms

Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is set to get the chance to show if he can be a top class player.

The Spaniard is closing in on a £25 million move from Brighton to Chelsea, where he will compete for the no.1 jersey.

Sanchez will fight it out with Kepa Arrizabalaga to be new manager Mauricio Pochettino's starting shot stopper.

Per The Mail, the deal between the two clubs is all but done, with Sanchez set for his medical.

The move does come as a surprise, as the Spanish keeper had lost his place at Brighton towards the end of last season.

He comes in to replace Edouard Mendy at Chelsea, with the Senegalese heading to Saudi Arabia.
