Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao wants to follow one of his heroes to Chelsea.

Atletico Madrid ace Falcao, 26, is on Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo's wishlist after scoring 49 goals from just 58 appearances.

Blues boss RDM said: "Falcao is one of the best strikers in the world.

"If you ask any manager, he would have him in his team. I know the window's nearing and there'll be a lot of speculation for our club."

The Sun says Falcao is also being tracked by Manchester City but appears keen on a switch to London and has admitted Blues legend Gianfranco Zola was his hero.
