Charly Musonda came off the bench to fire Chelsea's winner in their U21 victory over Manchester City.
Pablo Maffeo had put the visitors in front after just three minutes and it took a big effort from the young Blues, and 74 minutes, to regain parity in the game. Ola Aina's wicked delivery from the right caused problems and Maffeo sliced into his own net.
That goal ensured a grandstand finale and the youngsters grabbed the winner late on in stoppage time as Alex Kiwomya's deflected cross found its way through to substitute Musonda, and the Belgian fired into the bottom corner to earn his side all three points.
Blues coach Adi Viveash told the club's website: "It was nice for Charly to score because it was a difficult decision for me to leave him out. He's had an outstanding pre-season, scoring and creating goals, and he was unlucky to miss out tonight but he responded in the perfect way."
