Charlton to bring in Standard Liege keeper Thuram

Charlton Athletic are set to sign French goalkeeper Yohann Thuram on loan.

Reports suggest that the 25-year old Standard Liege gloveman will join the Addicks until the end of the season following the takeover of Charlton but Liege owner Roland Dutchatelet.

Standard goalkeeping coach Jos Beckx said: "He (Thuram) has to play, but our first goalkeeper, Japanese international Eiji Kawashima, is a key player.

"Charlton or another team on loan will be a good solution for Yohann."
