Liverpool youngster Luke Chambers says they fancy winning the UEFA Youth League this season.

Chambers himself has struck twice in Youth League action so far, finding the back of the net against both Rangers and Napoli during wins in Kirkby - the latter of which secured qualification for the next phase.

"We had to bounce back after the defeat in Ajax the week before and I think we did just that," Chambers told Liverpoolfc.com.

"It was a really good team performance, we took our chances well and we kept goals out of our net, so happy days.

"We don't fear anybody, and I don't know why we should. We got five wins out of six in the group and I think we've got a really good combination in the team of U18 and U21 players. We have confidence, and we want to do well in this competition."
