Chambers delighted with fresh Villa chance

Aston Villa backup Calum Chambers admits he is always striving to be ready when he is needed.

The defender is very much on the outs with manager Unai Emery at Villa Park.

However, he was called on against Nottingham Forest for their 4-2 win, with Tyrone Mings, Ezri Konsa and Diego Carlos missing.

He stated post-game: "No matter what, I train my hardest every day to make sure I'm at the best level I can be to perform!

“Picking up these 3 points is exactly what I work for! #UTV."

The win over Forest solidified Villa's position in the top four, especially with Manchester United losing to Fulham this weekend.
