Recent Arsenal signing Marouane Chamakh knows he can improve further and expects to do it at his new club.

The Morocco international joined the Gunners on a free transfer from French club Bordeaux and sees the move to the English Premier League as a time for him to mature and get better as a player.

"I still have room for improvement. I have not yet acquired all of my qualities needed to progress in another league," he told the Mirror.

"When a manager like Arsene Wenger is interested it gives you the motivation to improve."
