Central Coast on verge of signing Melbourne Victory's Flores

Reports suggests that Marcos Flores is close to joining A-League champions Central Coast Mariners.

Graham Arnold's side are in talks with the Melbourne Victory playmaker and are expected to clinch his signature as they go about revamping their disassembled squad this offseason.

The Mariners have already lost striker Bernie Ibini (Shanghai SIPG), goalkeeper Mat Ryan (Club Brugge), midfielder Tom Rogic (Celtic) and right-back Pedj Bojic (Sydney FC) since January and are looking to strengthen their title-winning squad with the addition of Flores.

The impending move of the Argentine to Gosford could pave the way for the Victory to freely go after Greek veteran Giorgos Karagounis who was recently released by Fulham.
