Striker Georgios Samaras is out of the Celtic team until the end of November as the Greece international recovers from a cartilage operation. "Georgios underwent a successful cartilage operation last Sunday in Dublin," Samaras' advisor DR Gregory Ioannidis told the Daily Record.

"He is well and is expected to return to action in three to four weeks."
