Celtic striker Chris Killen is out of New Zealand's World Cup qualifiers against Vanuatu with an Achilles strain.

Killen has opted to stay in Glasgow rather than fly to his homeland for the qualifier double header and will continue to receive treatment for the injury in the hope he will be ready to resume playing after the break for internationals.
