Celtic have moved into the lead in the race for Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard.
The Scottish Sun says Bullard wants to continue his career starring in England's top flight.
But he would consider a switch to Parkhead if no one down south made a move to land him this summer.
Newly-promoted Newcastle are the only club so far to have shown a genuine interest in signing him with Blackburn Rovers and Bolton refusing to gamble on Bullard's fitness.
However, St James' Park boss Chris Hughton has now decided to look elsewhere as he bids to strengthen his squad for the Toon's return to the top flight.
