Celtic's Gary Hooper could experience a double blow this week as his hamstring injury is set to force him to miss tonight's Champions League clash with Barcelona and potentially his first England call-up.
The 24-year old striker was tipped to be selected by Roy Hodgson for the Three Lions' international friendly with Sweden next week but the fact he has already been ruled out of the Parkhead meeting with Barca suggests he may not be ready to play for his country.
Hooper has been attracting more and more interest from Hodgson due to recent goalscoring performances but it appears that the England boss may have no choice but to leave him out yet again if his hamstring problem is not right.
