Celtic have made a move for Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart.

Out of contract with Burnley at the end of this month, Hart is now in contention for a move to Scotland following intense negotiations this week, says the Daily Mail.

Although Celtic have not given up hope of securing another one-year loan deal for Forster, a lack of clarity from his parent club has forced them to look at alternatives.

Hart, the 33-year-old England international, has been told he won't be offered a new deal at Turf Moor after falling behind Nick Pope in the pecking order.

The former England No1 joined the Clarets from Manchester City for £3.5m in 2018 but lost his place in December.
