Celtic have beaten Steaua Bucharest 2-1 in a mid-winter friendly in Marbella.
The Scottish champions will resume their title defence on a high after coming from behind in the second half to down the Romanian club.
Stefan Nikolic's goal gave Steaua a half-time lead before Georgios Samaras and Mohamed Bangura edged Celtic ahead, delighting stand-in manager Johan Mjallby.
"I'm pleased we won, it was more a focus on fitness, but we played really well in the second half and looked more dangerous," the Swede said.
"It was a very good goal (from Bangura) and he needed that boost. I hope he can kick on from here.
"Maybe it has been hard on him with the high price tag when he joined, and his confidence has been quite low."
The Hoops, who are nine points clear of both Inverness and Motherwell, will resume their domestic duties with a home clash against Hearts this Saturday.
