Celtic have put in an offer for Germinal Beerschot young gun Victor Wanyama.
The 19-year old Kenyan midfielder has been linked with the Hoops for a little while now and it seems as though he is closer to joining the Glasgow giants.
Wanyama's agent, Ivan Modia, confirmed that Celtic had made an offer and says that his client would rather play in Scotland than in Belgium.
"There are seven clubs interested, but Celtic has now put in an offer," Modia was quoted as saying in the Daily Express.
"Deals have been agreed between Germinal Beerschot and two clubs.
"Standard Liege have been keen to close the deal, but the player wants to go to Celtic."
