Celtic are planning a double raid on Manchester City for Shay Given and Craig Bellamy.
The Scottish Sun says Celtic boss Neil Lennon's only hope of landing either of the frozen-out Man City stars on loan is with a late August attempt.
Lennon covets Republic of Ireland No1 Given and Welsh striker Bellamy who scored nine goals in 15 games during a temporary spell with the Hoops six years ago.
Right now, however, the Celts board cannot compete with Premiership or Championship clubs for the wages of the duo who each earn in excess of £90,000 a week.
