Celta Vigo coach Rafa Benitez is adamant Javier Manquillo will make an instant impact.

The defender is set to join Celta from Newcastle United.

And former Toon manager Benitez said: "He is a player who is healthy once he finished a problem he had with his adductor, he ended up having surgery for an inguinal hernia to see if the problem came from there.

"He is fine now, he has been training.

"Now it is a question of how long it will take for him to get fit. We are bringing him so that he is in shape as soon as possible and tightens what we have so some of us can recharge too."
