Celta Vigo do have an interest in signing Southampton star Sofiane Boufal.

However, they are being put off by the asking price the Premier League club have put on the player's head.

Boufal was on loan at Celta this season, playing 37 games and scoring three goals.

While he performed at a decent level, a £13 million fee is seen as beyond the La Liga club's capability.

According to Fara de Vigo, Boufal is a second option if they are unable to get their preferred transfer targets this summer.

It is unclear if Southampton will bring Boufal into the squad next season or try to find another team for him.
