Cech: Chelsea have everything to play for

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech insists they've everything to play for.

Cech says the locker room has been lifted by their Champions League victory at Copenhagen.

"The Champions League is a very good competition and it is a competition Chelsea has never won before. We want to go and win it," Cech told chelseafc.com.

"Recently things have not been going our way. We are behind in the league, we are out of the FA Cup and so this competition is what we are looking for. We want to go all the way and win it. This is our aim.

"Of course we are behind in the league but we have to play Manchester United twice. There is a long way to go and everyone knows we are fighting for this trophy.

"And a win is always good for the confidence. Now we have seven days to get ready for the Manchester United game and we will try to close the gap in the League by winning that game.

"We are still very far behind. We will need a lot of luck for everybody else to drop points but we will fight until the very last moment."
