Petr Cech insists Chelsea are determined to successfully defend the Carling Cup this season.

After victory over Liverpool in this week's quarterfinal, Cech said: "Once you have won any trophy, you want to retain it as long as you can.

"We want to keep our trophy at Stamford Bridge."
