Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has hailed the impact Shkodran Mustafi has made following his arrival in the summer.
The Germany international, who arrived in a £35m move from Valencia during summer, is yet to lose a game at his new club.
The Spaniard believes that Mustafi's arrival has solidified the Gunners' defence.
"Mustafi has brought a lot to the team," Cazorla told IBTimes.co.uk.
"Even though he is still very young he already has big experience and has formed a good partnership with Koscielny.
"They already understand each other very well.
"That solidness in defence gives the rest of the team an assurance to play with more freedom."
