Catania president Nino Pulvirenti admits Juan Vargas is a wanted man.

"In January, Vargas certainly will remain with us, then we will see in June," he said. "I do not follow very closely the calciomercato because that's the job of our sports director, but I know that Vargas is a player who interests both teams nationally and internationally.

"He is a player who has proved to be good in our league, I hope that he remains in Italy."
