Catania striker Maxi Lopez has spoken of his relationship with love rival Mauro Icardi, of Inter Milan.
Maxi refused to respond to the constant taunts of Icardi, who is now engaged to the Catania's man former wife.
"I need to be an example for youngsters," Lopez said. "I could have hurt him (Icardi), but I didn't do it so that I wouldn't be a bad example for my children.
"Everything I do, I do in order to be an example. I am an old-fashioned type, for me ethics are ethics - if those are broken for me everything is finished. Respect, everything.
"Today however I'm winning. I am relaxed and happy and I think that Wanda is too with that person.
"She gave me three children that I love and I can see that they are well too. We need to find peace, out of respect to everyone."
