Antonio Cassano has recalled clashing with his former coach Walter Mazzarri.

Cassano admits he's a fan of the former Sampdoria tactician, though not of his excuse making.

He told Bobo TV: "I love Mazzarri, but every time he made up excuses.

"Once there was a bit of wind, then there was the wet field, the grass was high. I think he's a very good person. When we never attacked, always in defense with half a counterattack, he spoke to the press and said that we had dominated the match.

"I answered him 'Mister, what the fuck are you talking about? We never attack!'."
