Cascarino tips Leicester ace Maddison for Arsenal move

Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino says Arsenal should move for Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.

Aaron Ramsey is off to Juventus on a free at the end of the season after more than a decade at the Emirates.

And Cascarino wrote in The Times: “I look at Maddison and I think, 'Arsenal is your team'.

“The long goal for the north London side is targeting certain players in the summer and Maddison should be the man to replace Aaron Ramsey.

"There are not many great No 10s in world football but Arsenal desperately need someone who plays like the Leicester City man.

“The problem for No 10s is that most are asked to work without the ball.

“You have to be very gifted to do that and nine out of ten gifted players do not want to work without the ball.

“Maddison's work-rate is good and getting better. There is no question about whether he is technical enough for the top flight."
