Newcastle United boss John Carver says the club has no complaints over Papiss Cisse's spitting ban.
Carver admits that Cisse will be a big miss but accepts the FA had no option but to throw the book at him.
"Any team would miss their top goalscorer and he's up there with the best," said the Toon boss.
"Papiss is down because of what's happened but he made a good statement and he was right to do that because there's no place in the game for what he did.
"He was provoked and he did retaliate.
"I think one or two would have reacted differently and got less of a ban but he's accepted it and the club has dealt with it in the correct way."
