Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal would welcome Alvaro Morata back to the club.

The Chelsea striker left Real last summer for London, but has struggled in his first season in England.

Carvajal came up through the ranks at Madrid alongside the striker and would love to see him wear the white shirt again.

When asked on El Transistor if he wants to see Morata return to Real Madrid, Carvajal replied: “Yes, he's a good friend and a very good player."

Morata was overlooked yesterday for Spain's latest squad, put his World Cup hopes in doubt.
