Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher feels Everton will struggle without an experienced centre-forward.
Interest in Olivier Giroud and Christian Benteke, amongst others, failed to develop, leaving Everton with just three recognised forwards until January.
“I know people who were at the game, speaking to Everton fans afterwards, they were very disappointed with how they performed," Carragher said.
“I think there is definitely a problem at centre forward for Everton, a huge problem. I said that when they signed Sigurdsson, I think he's a good player but centre forwards are what they needed more than anything."
