Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali says Beppe Marotta should be next FIGC president.

Marotta has insisted he is fully committed to his post at Inter Milan.

“It would be fantastic to start working again with Marotta," said Carnevali to Radio TV Serie A.

“However, it would be difficult in the same club as we have two quite similar roles. It also depends on what he does in the future.

“Therefore, never say never. I'd love this prospect as there's always something to learn from Beppe.

“FIGC president? As well as being a great director, Marotta is also a great politician. So he could be perfect for the role because he knows our problems.

“He has all the skills required to succeed in this role."
