Manchester United starlet Charlie Savage is being eyed up by Championship duo Cardiff and Rotherham.

The two second division clubs, along with third division side Portsmouth, are eager to play the midfielder regularly.

The son of former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage, Charlie was impressive at Forest Green Rovers last term.

Per The Sun, Savage is not likely to go on United's preseason tour of the United States.

He is one who manager Erik ten Hag believes should be playing regularly to improve.

A year on loan in the Championship would give him a chance to prove whether he is United standard.
