Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock says VAR should be introduced as soon as possible.

Chelsea's equaliser against the Bluebirds on Sunday was clearly offside but failed to be spotted by the linesmen. Warnock's side would eventually go on to lose 2-1 in Wales.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday night's clash with Manchester City, Warnock has called for the Premier League's governing body to introduce the new technology in order to eliminate refereeing mistakes.

"You just have to get on with it now. You just have to get onto the next one. You realise that not many more things could go against us really," Warnock said.

"This second half of the season – apart from an earthquake or something – I cannot imagine anything else happening that could be any worse than what we have been through.

"The sooner that VAR comes in the better really to help them out."
