Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has warned Manchester United fans they face years in the wilderness.

Warnock was delighted with their 2-0 win at Old Trafford yesterday.

"It's not going to be an easy situation for Man Utd, I think everyone knows that," said Warnock.

"It'll take more than two or three transfer windows to turn things around. Perhaps the start they had (under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer) fudged one or two issues.

"I'm afraid, the fans will have to bite their tongues for a few years."
