Cardiff boss Harris delighted with impact of Wolves defender Sanderson

Cardiff City boss Neil Harris is delighted with the impact of on-loan Wolves defender Dion Sanderson.

At Cardiff, Sanderson made his league debut up against Nottingham Forest and, though his side lost 1-0, acquitted himself well against the threat of Sammy Ameobi and Joe Lolley.

He followed up with another strong performance as Cardiff drew 2-2 with Brentford.

Harris hopes to reap the benefits of Sanderson's loan until the end of the season, or when football does resume, and has been effusive in his praise saying: "Dion has shown himself to be more than capable of playing at this level.

"He has shown he is composed on the ball and is willing to get forward, he's athletic and willing to defend as well. He should be a proud young man."
