AC Milan wing-back Theo Hernandez was forced to play in third gear at the World Cup.
That's according to former Milan coach Fabio Capello, who says Theo had to curb his attacking instincts due to the presence of France teammate Kylian Mbappe.
Theo had gone into the World Cup in superb form.
"He played with the handbrake on because ha had Mbappé in front of him and didn't want his water to be occupied by other fishes," said Capello.
"He was the only one allowed to swim there."
