Capello slams AC Milan Rangnick move: He did unimportant things in Germany

Former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello has questioned Ralf Rangnick's record.

The former Hoffenheim boss is set to succeed Stefano Pioli as coach of Milan at the end of the season.

But Capello told Radio RAI: "I don't know him, he did interesting, unimportant things in Germany and arrives in a championship he doesn't know.

"It will be another zero year and I believe that Milan will lose another year.

"Pioli gave the group a mentality that previously was not seen, the Rossoneri should continue the path they have taken, with a couple of important hits they could become competitive."
