England boss Fabio Capello has described Manchester United star Wayne Rooney as his "crazy joker" after his goal scoring performance against Slovakia.

"Rooney is an important player, not only for England but also for Manchester United," said Capello.

"He could play on his own up front. He can play anywhere - he is like a joker in a pack of cards - a crazy joker. It would be a tragedy if we were to ever lose him."
