Capello in new blast at owners of AC Milan and Roma over Maldini and Mourinho treatment

Fabio Capello remains furious with the actions of the owners of AC Milan and AS Roma.

Capello says he cannot understand the way Jose Mourinho was sacked by Roma last week.

He told Marca: "There is no respect, they did the same with Paolo Maldini. You can fire someone, because the job of coaching involves the risk of leaving at any moment and you take it on.

"But then you can't wait to go to the locker room to tell Mourinho that he is no longer the coach of Roma or Maldini that he is no longer the sporting director of Milan. For Please! Come, let's talk calmly and then you decide what you want. This is respect for me, this is education.

"But this doesn't just happen in football. Lehman Brothers went to their employees, gave them a cardboard box to put their things in and went out into the street… It's their style, but I don't understand it. If this is the business world, I don't understand it.

" I think that people like Maldini, who is the history of Milan, should be told things with respect, and wait for the season to end. You can fire Mourinho because he is the manager, but you can't tell him that in the dressing room."
