It has been revealed that England manager Fabio Capello flipped at Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey because he was sending text messages during a team dinner.

Capello has stated publicly that he does not want his England players to be distracted when on international duty and that counts for team meetings as well as dinners.

According to The Sun, Heskey was caught sending text messages under the table in the lead-up to the World Cup qualifier against Ukraine, sending Capello into a spin.

The Villa striker did start in the Ukraine match but was substituted at half-time and did not even feature on the bench in the final qualifier against Belarus last Wednesday.
