Fabio Capello will bring in an all-Italian backroom team when he takes up the England coaching reigns.

Italo Galbato, Capello's assistant coach at Real Madrid and AC Milan, will be the manager's right-hand man, while former Roma and Real sports director Franco Baldini will be in charge of man-management.

Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola will also be brought back to England to act as liaison and bridge any cultural differences.

All the indications are that Capello will be signed up and unveiled to the nation tomorrow.

Chief executive Brian Barwick still has to get the agreement of the FA board today but that is regarded as a formality - and if the chief executive did not get their support he would have to resign.
