Fabio Capello feels AC Milan are paying for allowing Andrea Pirlo to leave last year. Milan are in eleventh place - a staggering 19 points behind the Giallorossi.
"I haven't spoken to Milan President Silvio Berlusconi for about a year as he's been busy with politics," former Milan coach Capello said.
"He has a substitute in Adriano Galliani who has done well. There are years where you make wrong signings and the blame is placed on the Coach or on who buys.
"This is one of those years at Milan. You can make mistakes when buying and selling. I'm referring to Andrea Pirlo.
"You can't lose a player like that on a Bosman."
