Cape Verde youngster Wuilito 'Totti' Fernandes is on trial with MLS giants New York Red Bull.
The 20-year old attacking midfielder joined the Red Bulls from the New England Luso American Soccer Association earlier this week and was immediately enjoying his time among the likes of Thierry Henry and Rafael Marquez.
"I worked out with all the players, did everything they asked me. Obviously players like Rafa Marquez, Thierry Henry were really nice to me. They were happy with what I did today," he said through a translator.
"We were just practicing positions, moving without the ball but not really playing, schematics of the game, strategy. I did well. They help you out, but I haven't shown what I have in terms of skill, in terms of playing football yet. We just played small (sided) games, one-touch, two-touch.''
Fernandes moved to the USA from Cape Verde just over a year ago, beginning his career at Boston International High School before moving onto the Luso ASA.
