Sporting Gijon defender Roberto Canella is on the Aston Villa radar.

The Spanish U21 international has been in terrific form in the La Primera Liga and although he is wary of the fact 'big' clubs are looking at him, he just wants to get the job done at home first.

"My mission is to work and to help the team," Canella told setantasports.com.

"I cannot say too much but I'm always grateful that big clubs are looking at my matches."
