Canadian teen Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty has impressed Liverpool players in trials.
The Liverpool Echo says the 17-year-old winger has spent time with the Reds during the festive period as clubs across Europe continue to circle for the signature of the Toronto FC winger.
Harvey Elliott has been pictured with Marshall-Rutty, just like Mohamed Salah, and sent a clear transfer message when responding to a comment left by Marshall-Rutty on his Instagram profile.
"Sign the ting g," he told the MLS starlet.
It remains to be seen as to which team will make the first move for the talented teenager, who has reached the end of his breakthrough season in the American top-flight.
Marshall-Rutty signed a first-team contract at Toronto at the age of 15 in January 2020 and made his debut as a substitute later that year, becoming the youngest-ever player to represent the team.
