Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants the influence of legends to help his side this season.
The Gunners' young coach has been inviting former first team stars to training to meet the players and staff.
Martin Keown was a recent visitor, while Sol Campbell was at the training ground this week.
Arsenal are top of the Premier League, but take on Manchester City away from home on Wednesday.
“It's great to have them back," said Arteta to reporters.
“Sol said to me yesterday that it was 10 years ago the last time he was here, and that's not right. We need those people, with those experiences with the club, to be closer to the players, to share their experiences and to be around.
“Then the feeling is different. [The current players] were looking up to Sol and some wanted to ask him a few questions. I think it's extremely helpful."
