Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon insists there's no plans to sell Javier Saviola.

He said: "In principle there is no intention to let him leave. It is true that he has not played as we expected, but there are tactical issues for the coaches who have a very large staff. It is true that ahead of him are two huge players and he does not have it easy, but this player came here as an express wish from the coach.

"I think that he hopes to use this player and that's why I think that he will continue with us next season."
